Linguix is not only one of the world’s best tools for English writing enhancement and grammar correction. It is not about the software, artificial intelligence, bytes, and numbers, it is all about people. Here at Linguix we try to connect people worldwide by enhancing their communication. And our blog is just a perfect place to learn new things, understand how to avoid errors, and make new connections.
As so, we want to share the guidelines that will help us build a stronger community and get more errors fixed.
Short version: Don’t be a jerk, don’t spam or solicit, keep to the topic, and think twice before posting.
More details below.
1. Keep discussion polite and respectful
The primary goal of is to help people and build a strong community where members are learning from one another. So we want to make sure that everyone regardless of background, race, identity or belief feels OK here. We have zero tolerance to harassment, hate speech, or humiliation.
So, remember to avoid:
- name-calling
- ad hominem attacks
- responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content.
Comments that we find to be hateful, inflammatory, or harassing may be removed and the user who posted it will be banned from our pages. If you don’t have something nice to say about another user, don’t say it. Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.
2. Try to add value to any discussion
There are a lot of discussions that happen every day on the Web. Before joining in a discussion, browse our blog to find out how people usually behave here, especially if you’re a new user.
Also, remember that discussions are the perfect learning tool. So, if you find someone who’ve made a mistake, try not to blame or make fun of this person, but explain how to fix the problem. Stay positive, and helpful.
If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.
3. Don’t spam
We share useful information about language learning and writing enhancement here, and so do our readers. Our community is a place where people help each other. This means that comment that contains only a link to your blog, a product, or your article on another site will almost always be removed, as it is a one-way approach where only you get benefits.
If you are the best English tutor in the world, or you’ve just come up with a new grammar checking software (though we bet it is not as sophisticated as Linguix), try to share this information on your own website or at least send a guest post query via contacts.
4. Stay On-topic
Be sure your topic matches the general theme of the website. Don’t post off-topic comments or discussions: check our blog to review previous articles and comments, if there are comments below the post read the full thread to check if there is already an answer to your question.
5. English Only
Though website and software may be used by people from any place of the globe it does not mean that we support discussions in local languages. Linguix is a tool for English language writing enhancement, so we want all discussions and comments on our website to be in English only. Non-English comments and discussions will be removed
That’s it!
